The Child Opportunity Index shows that too many children in our region grow up with limited access to high-quality education, safe neighborhoods, stable housing, and healthy community support. These opportunity gaps shape lifelong outcomes predicting everything from academic success to future income, mental health, and community safety. Living in Purpose exists to close these gaps.

Through Youth Development, we provide mentoring, academic support, life skills, and workforce pathways that give young people the guidance and tools they’ve never had. Through Family Empowerment, we stabilize the home by equipping parents with financial coaching, housing support, advocacy, and resources to create a healthier environment for their children.

Through Community Impact, we strengthen the networks around each family, partnering with schools, courts, churches, and agencies to build a safer, more connected, purpose-driven community. Where opportunity has been historically limited, LIP creates new pathways for youth and families to thrive.
